Aerendir to Launch Biometric Trust Certificate Solution in Upcoming Webinar

Aerendir is going to unveil a new authentication solution in a live webinar slated for October 21, the company has announced. Starting at 9:00 a.m. PT, the company will showcase its new “A-Cert” system, with an audience Q&A session to follow.

Aerendir’s flagship biometric technology revolves around the use of smartphone sensors to authenticate users based on patterns in their hand movements. The system leverages data from sensors that are normally used to do things like count the users steps in order to detect micro-vibrational patterns that can be tied to neurological activity. That’s why Aerendir CEO Martin Zizi has referred to the company’s authentication system as one based on “live neurophysiologic biometrics“.

Now, Aerendir is preparing to launch a new system that combines the end user’s biometric signature with a Trust Certificate. This means that the user’s identifying biographic data – things like name and address, which might be tied to the biometric identity – can be anonymized, since the Trust Certificate itself can be used to confirm that the end user is who they claim they are.

As Aerendir put it in its webinar announcement, “The result is a private, trustable, linkable, fully encrypted and auditable digital identity.”

Aerendir is planning to pitch A-Cert as a solution primarily for access control, but notes that it can also be used in applications such as e-commerce and healthcare. Interested parties can learn more by attending Aerendir’s webinar, with registration now open and free of charge.
